Overview
**Available for non-fiction ghostwriting projects in 2027.**
Agreeing to write a book with someone is a very big deal. To me, at least. Each writing project takes up residence in my brain and dominates my thoughts – often way longer than reasonable! For this reason, I only take on projects that I feel genuinely curious and excited about.
My favourite part of these collaborations is helping an author shape the information in their head and identify what makes their take on a topic unique. I share ideas freely, am open to breaking rules, and get a rush when we land on something that feels new and exciting.
I got my start in book publishing in the mid-2000s writing with chef Jamie Oliver as the head of his in-house editorial department. After working on six of Jamie's best-selling books and many other incredible projects, I moved to Australia with my fiancé.
In Sydney, I spent several years managing a list of non-fiction books at one of Australia's biggest independent publishing houses. I started my own writing and editing business in 2017, and since then I've had a steady stream of editing and writing commissions from international publishers including HarperCollins, Pan Macmillan and Murdoch Books/Allen & Unwin.
I'm comfortable working with big personalities and working around busy schedules, and am equally adept at drawing out gems from quieter individuals. My clients tend to be based in Australia, the US, Canada and the UK, and I travel to these countries often.
