I'm Kasia, an illustrator and artist based in the enchanting city of Edinburgh. Educated at UMCS University in Poland, I have spent years creating illustrations that dance between the lines of emotion, story, and intricate detail.
My commitment to precision has led to collaborations with brands like Apple, Absolute Radio, and Science Museum, to name a few.
Now, while my work process blends meticulous research with sudden bursts of inspiration, there's also a sprinkle of spontaneity and a whole lot of heart. Think of it as my secret recipe. From an oddly shaped cloud that floats by to that one catchy tune playing on repeat in my mind, I draw inspiration from everywhere. My hand-drawn sketches undergo a digital transformation in either Photoshop or Procreate, blending the tangible with the virtual.
But beyond the art, it's about connection. I believe illustrations should resonate, evoking emotions and weaving narratives. When you work with me, expect not just a visual treat, but an emotional voyage illustrated with utmost precision and passion.
Away from the drawing board, you'll likely find me wandering local parks, mug of coffee in hand. I'm the kind who dreams big, like adopting every cat and dog I see. And trust me, my ambition doesn't stop at household pets — I've even attempted to befriend a skeptical squirrel or two. When I'm not trying to expand my animal kingdom, I'm plugged into psychology podcasts, fascinated by the intricate workings of our minds and those of our occasionally judgmental furry friends.

The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio
In collaboration with "The Dave Berry Breakfast Show," we crafted the enchanting bedtime tale, "Pookie and The Perfect Sound." Journey with our charming earworm, Pookie, and his trusty sidekick, Hairy Situation, as they embark on a quest to discover the perfect sound. The narrative was beautifully voiced by Dave Berry of the Dave Berry Breakfast Show and was shared across social media platforms. It was also broadcasted live on Absolute Radio, captivating listeners nationwide.

The Bumper Book of Uncles: Artistic Collaboration
I am honored to have been a part of the vibrant #leith artist community that collaborated on "The Bumper Book of Uncles." In this limited edition hardback, each Uncle is vividly brought to life by a different local artist, making it a diverse tapestry of styles and interpretations.
The book combines art with whimsical rhyming puns. Some of the delightful characters include Uncle Cyril, half man and half squirrel; Uncle Murray, always in a hurry! These are just a few of the many charming uncles that readers will encounter.
This artistic endeavor wasn't just about creating, but also giving. Proceeds from the book are dedicated to a cherished local children's charity. It's art with a heart.
And a fun tidbit: Amongst the myriad of Uncle Murrays gracing the pages, the renowned Andy Murray has his own copy and is quite smitten with it!

In the enthralling "Colour to Save the Ocean" series, I proudly contributed as an illustrator across two volumes:

As a contributing illustrator to these coloring books, I've had the joy of crafting vivid marine illustrations for children aged 5-10. This engaging coloring series, packed with quirky line drawings and informative snippets, offers both creativity and learning. Beyond its artistic allure, a third of all profits directly support ocean conservation initiatives.
