I’m an experienced editorial professional offering development editing, copy editing, and proofreading services, and specializing in educational and nonfiction content. I planted my editorial roots in higher education book publishing in New York City in 2009. Over five years, I rapidly progressed from Editorial Assistant to Associate Editor to Development Editor at Bedford/St. Martin’s (now Macmillan Education), an imprint of Macmillan Publishers.I moved into freelance editing while relocating to the West Coast and continued growing my editorial experience through work on higher education materials, and nonfiction manuscripts that included a memoir and an educational healthcare pamphlet.I then worked a few years in an editorial role at a digital marketing agency—adding knowledge of B2B tech, thought leadership content development, social media marketing, and SEO to my editorial expertise.Most recently, I served as Copy and Production Editor at a leading website for radiology professionals, building my skills in editing medical content.
