I am a publisher, author, and editor with over fifteen years of experience in genre fiction. I am tough, but try to be encouraging. Think of me like that teacher you had in high school that terrified you a little but taught you valuable lessons that you took with you throughout your life. I do that, just for writing. I work on developmental edits, meaning I handle structure, story development, character development, sentence-level word choice work, and other "big picture" elements. I'm not the guy to tell you where all the commas go: that's what your copy editor and proofreader are for.

I work in commercial genre fiction, so send me your best science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, mystery, thriller, or adventure novel. I don't work on memoir, literary fiction, poetry, or nonfiction, sorry.
