Creating a polished, professional print and digital book layout is a difficult task. If you're looking for a specialist to design your project and also answer your technical questions, I'm here to help. I’ve spent the last decade plus working in digital production for large publishers and small publishers alike. I’m also an experienced freelancer, and I love working with independent authors to bringing their visions to the page.In my career in publishing, I've created ebooks for a number of large brands, such as Food52 and Martha Stewart. I've worked on titles by NYT bestselling authors like Jodi Picoult, Chrissy Teigen, Alton Brown, Rose Levy Beranbaum, and more. My ebook work runs the gamut from novels to nonfiction titles to art books and crafting manuals.For my freelance clients, I most often create both a print and a digital layout. I've worked on nonfiction titles as well as novels, and love working on projects in a variety of genres. As a print designer, I like to keep my clients involved in the process, and to make sure their creativity and vision is reflected in the final design.After a print design is finalized, I create a print-ready PDF and ebook ready for upload to any distribution platform. I have worked extensively with Kindle Direct Publishing, and am familiar with many other print-on-demand platforms, so I'll be sure to make sure your final files match the distribution platform you plan to use.
