Overview
Hi there!I've always had a love for books. When I was little I remember bringing giant stacks of books over to my family members and asking them to read to me over and over. I adored listening to the stories and looking at the colorful illustrations on the pages. That is what inspired me to become a designer and I still carry that passion for books with me to this day.I am an enthusiastic and driven art director and designer with over 11 years of experience working in the publishing industry. I'm a visual storyteller with strong concept, design, and typography skills. I create engaging content while being flexible, efficient, and reliable. My experience includes working as an art director and designer at American Girl/Mattel for over 11 years. During that time I art directed and designed numerous books across several different brands, including both fiction and non-fiction books for children ages 3-12. I also led the visual development of Welliewishers publishing, a new American Girl brand. Available for book cover and interior art direction, design, & typesetting.
