Overview
Hello!
My name is Jennifer and I love designing books! I have extensive experience as a book and editorial designer. My clients have included Rizzoli, Artisan, Godine, Chronicle, domino magazine, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Melcher Media, KYLE Books and Little, Brown and Company.
My twenty-five-year career as a graphic designer/art director has given me a tremendous wealth of experience and knowledge. I have worked in small studios, as well as for larger acclaimed design firms and for publishing houses. For the past 25 years I have owned and operated my own studio. In this time, my work has been primarily focused on book design, branding, logos and magazine design for small businesses as well as national and international publishers. My objective is to make every project I take on simple, timeless and clear, engaging and beautiful.
I am a fast, careful and detail oriented designer. I love nothing more than playing with beautiful typography!
I am always happy to discuss how we could best work together! Knowing the level of design you want, how many options, your budget, resources, deadline are crucial to helping me give you a quote. I am excited to work with you on designing the best possible solution for your book.
