Jeannette Williams

Jeannette Williams – Editor

Experienced copy editor, proofreader, and nonfiction developmental editor who's worked with Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and Abrams.

Overview

First and foremost, I'm a problem solver. I've helped a variety of clients untangle ideas and content as an editor, ghost writer, and copy editor. I've worked with Penguin Random House, BOMB Magazine, Abrams, HarperCollins, public health organizations, and nonprofits — and I look forward to working with you!

As a copy editor and proofreader, I have helped authors polish materials ranging from business psychology (Adam Grant, Give and Take) to romance and pop culture (Aziz Ansari, Modern Romance) to memoirs (Moby, Porcelain) to math (Jordan Ellenberg, How Not to Be Wrong). (See my portfolio below for additional titles.)

As an editor and ghost writer, I have helped artists, scientists, educators, and other subject matter experts distill and organize complex information into accessible, digestible text for kindergarten to college-level audiences. (See my work at the Core Knowledge Foundation and the NYC Health Department.)

As a project manager with over a decade of experience, I've successfully completed nearly 1,500 projects ranging from teacher's guides to project intake systems to fiction and nonfiction books to learning curricula for health care providers.

Let me know how I can support you and your project!
