Grace Mander – Designer

Hi, I’m Grace. I became a designer and illustrator because I believe that thoughtful and beautiful story-telling through design can inspire and bring people joy. I believe design should be functional and emotional, accessible and impactful.

I have 12 years’ professional experience across a variety of projects including publication design, illustration, and large-scale graphics for public spaces. I have worked from concept design to finished artwork and production, including project leadership and client liaison. I work with hand drawn illustrations but can also digitise as required by the project.

I am ideas-driven, a conceptual thinker, creative, thoughtful and down-to-earth. I value a collaborative design process and always work towards the best outcome for each project. I am also organised, meticulous and thorough. Highly dedicated to every project I am involved in, I work hard and deliver on time.

I always loved reading as a child and continue to read fiction for enjoyment. Some other personal interests that inform my work include a love of travel, fine art, history, film, theatre, and food.
