Elizabeth Tucker

Elizabeth Tucker – Editor

Experienced university press editor in children's, history, and fiction titles with a Master's in Publishing.

Overview

I have 4 years of editorial experience with university presses, such as the University of Alaska Press. My specialties are developmental edits, line editing, and proofread across fiction: historical fiction, crime fiction; non-fiction: academic, history, cookbooks, biography; and children's titles. My personal interests are history, fantasy, science fiction, biography, and children's titles. I enjoy working closely with author's to unearth their best possible work.

Currently I am working as a freelance editor while I start up my publishing services business located in Alaska. Through this work I hope to connect authors with publishers that fit them and their work while also helping authors finalize their perfect manuscript.
