With a decade of in-house experience behind me, and now several years into freelancing, I know how to give strength to an author's voice, help make their work the best it can be, and collaborate effectively to ensure the publishing process is as seamless (and enjoyable!) as possible, for first-time and experienced authors alike.

Reflecting my in-house roles and academic background in history and environmental science, the majority of my work is across history, politics, current affairs, economics, the environment and natural history, with additional interests/experience in travel, sport and the outdoors, and biography and memoir. I'm passionate about making stories and ideas across these subject areas accessible to a general audience.

Recent clients include Ebury and Penguin Press (divisions of Penguin Random House), Octopus (a division of Hachette UK), Yale University Press, Verso Books and Faber. I work with small and large presses, as well as independent authors who are looking to either approach a traditional publisher or self-publish.
