Christian Colbert – Designer

My name is Christian, and I've been a professional artist since I was airbrushing T-Shirts at age 15. While have traded using paint for pixels, and the local mall for a home studio, I still bring that eagerness to learn and create to every project. I specialize in comic book illustration, children's book illustration, typography and color design. My work is inspired by the comic books, films, and television shows that inspired me as a kid. I strive to create those same types of fun, inclusive, and engaging stories and art that inspire a reader to pick up a pencil, pen or marker to begin their own creative journey.

In my years of experience, I have found that the basis of a great creative team up is not limited to a good story and a talented artist. Communication and respect are often overlooked creative tools. I am open and honest about my strengths and weaknesses as an artist. I am here to be an asset to any project I work on, and I genuinely love bringing stories from idea to finished work.

Working digitally allows my to create the most engaging work I can, while also creating the most value for a client's needs. I like to share and communicate my thoughts and ideas at each stage of the process, and I look forward to starting new creative journeys with new clients from all walks of life.
