Overview

I worked in-house for a decade at Elsevier and Chambers Harrap before making the jump to a full-time freelance career in 2011. My regular clients now include Thames & Hudson, Pan Macmillan, Edinburgh University Press and Historic Environment Scotland.

I'm interested in a wide variety of subjects, but my specialist areas for in-depth editing are art and archaeology, biography and history. I regularly work on academic material as well as narrative non-fiction for a wide readership, and I also love working on commercial fiction.
