Overview
Peter B. has been a writing partner on non-fiction books with authors Brad Feld, David Cohen, Matt Blumberg, Mahendra Ramsinghani, Jacques Benkoski, Claudia Reuter, Rory Verrett, and many others.
He has worked on topics in entrepreneurship, startups, venture capital, venture debt, executive recruiting, crypto, and franchising. He was named “One of the Top 10 Minds in Small Business” by Fortune Magazine and has published books with Wiley, the University of Chicago Press and self-publishing platforms.
He has a Ph.D. in economic sociology from the University of Chicago. In 2025 he relocated with his family from Colorado to his childhood home in Minnesota where he continues to write books and collaborate with authors.
Peter typically works with first-time authors to help them get over the daunting tasks of writing, publishing, and promoting their first book.
He and the author start with a raw idea and then collaborate over 5-6 months to create a polished, publishable manuscript. From there they either publish with a traditional publisher or self-publish.
Peter also works with authors who have to revise and resubmit their book, people who are stuck, or people who don't have the time or energy to finish an already started book.
