Anjali Banerjee

Anjali Banerjee – Editor

Twenty years as a developmental editor for new and published novelists. USA Today bestselling author of 15 books. I'd love to help you, too!

Overview

For over 20 years, I've edited manuscripts for beginning and bestselling writers and have worked on conceptual and developmental editing for Andrea Hurst & Associates. I've taught workshops at conferences and MFA programs. As an alum of Hedgebrook, an esteemed retreat for women writers on Whidbey Island, I've given writing workshops and helped fellow writers develop their story ideas, scenes, and final manuscripts. I've been a speaker at the South Asian Literary and Theater Arts Festival (SALTAF®) at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and I've given presentations and writing classes at many schools and libraries.

I'm also a #1 Kindle, Publishers Weekly, USA Today, and international bestselling author of 15 traditionally published novels under two names, with translations in a dozen foreign languages. I'm fully versed in the complex process of creating, revising, editing and proofreading a book-length manuscript. I love to help writers reach their potential and become published authors!

For every comment she wrote, she made a point to state why she was making the suggestion, provide examples, and even offered references if I needed more information on certain topics or writing tips. She helped me to better understand my manuscript from a reader's point of view and ways to enhance chara...
