Overview
Whether you're refining a manuscript, building a brand, or starting from scratch, I bring polish, perspective, and storytelling instincts honed from working in journalism, communications, and public relations.
I’m a writer, editor, and ex-New Yorker currently based in Scotland, trusted by publishers like Penguin Random House and Abrams, as well as global travel brands like Viking and Explora Journeys. I’ve written about travel and culture for outlets like the New York Times, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Elle, and others.
As a PR and Communications pro in New York City, I spent nearly two decades working with some of the world’s most renowned musicians, authors, and cultural institutions, telling great stories that built followings with impactful messages. I worked in-house at publishers like Scribner and Dutton and as a freelancer, I’ve edited, co-written, and ghostwritten books on music and lifestyle, partnering with high-profile authors, artists, and subject-matter experts to shape their voice and bring big ideas to life.
I have an MFA in writing from Western Michigan University, where I studied under a National Book Award Winner and a MacArthur Fellow, learning craft and developing a sharp eye for structure, tone, and clarity.
I'd love to hear about your project and discuss how I might help you. Let’s make your message resonate—whether it's meant to inspire, inform, or sell.
