Overview
I enjoy using bright and fun colors to add life to every page. I mainly create children's books or middle-school chapter books and have worked with other self-publishing companies for the last year and a half producing over 15 books.
I work digitally. When I start a new book project, I love to get to know my clients and their stories to better understand their needs and goals for each book. I can illustrate the entire book from the cover to the interior, or for middle school books, I also can do black and white illustrations. At the start of every project, I prefer to read over the manuscript to ensure I am the right artist for you.
In previous years I have worked with other industry companies to create character designs for both books and film. This experience helps me create fun and eye-catching characters to best tell your story. I like to start with designing the characters and a rough color palette for the book first so the author can best envision the book moving forward. Then once the look is established, we are ready to launch into the pages and or cover!
With plenty of communication through each step, we'll be able to work together to get the book from an idea to a final product you can hold in your hands, ensuring no surprises along the way and having fun in the process!
I only provide illustration services. Graphic design or typography is not included.

Work experience
Palmetto Publishing
I create visuals, character designs, and illustrations that appeal to a broad audience based on the author’s descriptions. When I start a project prepare layouts and drawings in compliance with established templates and design standards and communicate with the Art Director to provide any changes and edits necessary according to the author's feedback.
Brain Chase
I created backgrounds and game pieces for an educational online game for kids. In this process, I would make a variety of thumbnails for each individual illustration before the final illustrated look and communicate edits via phone and email with the senior artist.
Infinite Fountains Studio
I created character designs and illustrated scenes from the storyboards, currently over 40 illustrations for presentation, that would then be used to present as part of a pitch to Netflix for films. In the process, I communicated with the art director to make a variety of thumbnails for each individual illustration before the final look and would make any edits requested by the director.
Art Plus Academy
Teaching kids and adults the fundamentals of art through a variety of traditional mediums, as well as digital art and animation in both classroom settings and online.
