Overview
For over 25 years, I’ve been in the world of digital marketing and graphic design, but in 2020, I dove into digital illustration, focusing on bringing stories for kids to life with a bit of whimsy and a lot of heart. My journey from pixels to paintbrushes (digital ones!) has only deepened my passion for creating art that sparks imagination and connection.
Picture books are magical—they’re often our first windows into storytelling, empathy, and a world where anything is possible. I love creating art that makes kids see themselves as heroes, dreamers, and adventurers. The stories we grow up with shape who we become, and it’s an honor to be part of that journey.
When it comes to collaborating, I believe in clear, open communication to bring a shared vision to life. We’ll set the tone, feel, and look together so the artwork really speaks to young readers (and their grown-ups!). So if you’re ready to bring a bit of magic to your story, let’s dive in and get your book or project off to a fantastic start!

Work experience
Self-employed
I've worked in the content creation space for over 25 years. I am both a writer and an illustrator and have been creating content for the theatre, non-profits that support youth, and animation and puppet kid shows. My illustration and graphic design work shifted in 2017 when my role required creating content photos, videos, and graphics for The Flea Theatre. Before 2020, I worked in acrylic and gouache and moved to digital in 2020.
