almost 4 years ago@marieseltenrych0953 What do you mean, "never good enough"? Your cover is fantastic!! I love how it looks—the fonts you chose are perfect for the theme! The embossed effect on the text also works so well and I love the bright fuchsia color. It's a cover that would make me take a look. Fabulous job!

almost 4 years agoGraphic design is my main career—for me, it is a double-edged sword when it comes to my books. It is rewarding to design my own cover but a lot of tedious work to do the actual book layout and formatting (I also created fun chapter artwork illustrations—why not?). My art skills also spill over into online ads, Facebook/Instagram imagery, etc. I found I focused on these projects when I was in a writing slump—it was nice that it was all ready to go when I finished my book. :) Enjoy and hope you will share some of your cover ideas!
