Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson is a mighty ride. Also, Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders is the proverbial masterpiece :)

About me
Simon started writing professionally during the 1990’s, freelancing copy for Dennis Publishing on music and sport. He harboured ambitions to write a novel for many years and by 2010 felt ready to pursue that goal. His first two novels, Seed of Satan and Red Sunrise, are now available on Amazon.
