Sandy Aletraris was born in Nebraska. She graduated from University of Nebraska Lincoln with a BS in human development and the family, and special education. Sandy and her family lost her husband to suicide in 2008. She was was remarried in 2014. Sandy and her husband reside in Peachtree City, GA.
