Joel D. Hirst is a novelist and a playwright. His most recently released work "The Unraveling: A Novel", a dystopian story about the fraying of the world. Hirst was a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the George W. Bush Institute. Graduate of Brandeis University.
