almost 4 years ago@unknown-user lived in the sahara for about 3 years - so much to think about there, so much civilization and history in the Maghreb and sahel that is so uncommon but fascinating.

almost 4 years ago@ayushnalavade The cover is a young Armenian painter, a watercolor I commissioned and she nailed it. The story came to me over many years I have lived and worked in some of the world's most complicated places. Venezuela, Pakistan, Congo - and watching our problems become all unsolvable while even internally US and Europe are unable to arrive at consensus anymore. How it all ended, a dystopian story, sad but not brutal. Because it doesn't have to be this way. Its my bookmark in history I guess.
