Hi everyone, I want to first thank Lisa for selecting Daring and writing such a wonderful review. The bit of her own story that she shared in the review is typical of so many people with whom I've had the privilege of teaching and counseling and working as a pastor over the years. It's my story as well as many of yours, I'm sure. The moment we finally give ourselves permission to question everything we thought we knew is the moment everything becomes possible, which is exactly where Jesus is trying to take us. Lisa, thanks so much for the wonderful review. I'm especially grateful that you picked Daring since it's not a cozy mystery, fantasy, or suspense. Or dark chocolate for that matter. Loved hearing a bit of your story in the review. I never tire of hearing people's stories, especially those that are transformative. David Brisbin is a pastor, teacher, and musician with a BA in English Lit/Creative Writing and a Masters in Divinity. A published writer and songwriter, he is the teaching pastor at theeffect faith community and executive director of Encompass Recovery, an addiction treatment center in southern CA.
