Currently mashing away at it like a drunken Heedless, but it's going to need some refinement in the Conclusory before it's fit for the world. So stoked that you enjoyed book 1 - your review made my day!

Hi there Reedsy Community, you band of blood-soaked Heedless! I'm stoked to have Bastion Awakens released on Reedsy Discovery, and totally blown away by the responses so far! Who knew so many people got their kicks out of rampant space Vikings? “Most call it the void. Navigators call it the sea of stars. Roamers, among others, call it the ink. Not only because it is vast and dark, but because it stains all that it touches.” For those not faint of heart, Bastion Awakens will catapult you into a future Solar System that's teetering on the edge of planetary war. Tread with caution, though, for even if you're wrought of Marsian resilience, endowed with Lune wealth, or blessed with Earthen capital, the Consortium's voracious pursuit of conquest is all-consuming. Even they, however, aren't prepared for Bastion. If you were pleasantly devoured by these pages already and you're still alive to tell the tale, cast your upvotes so we can carve our way further through the void! A warning to all, though: book two is coming, and it's darker than ink and colder than night.
