– My poetry collection, inkwells., seeks to bring understanding and knowledge to a society that struggles to comprehend mental illness. By highlighting my personal journey through depression, anxiety, and other mental ailments through poignant verse, I hope to open the minds of others, helping them to view mental illness not as a stigma but as something that can and should be understood and even embraced. With this collection, I believe we can build a more knowledgeable and compassionate society.

– I love the emphasis on mental illness! It's a huge focus of me and my co-authors published novels. I'm worried that I'm not super knowledgeable in the poetry sphere though. 🙃

– Yes, on the surface of it, and it's a cool read ~ There's piecing ancient mythologies and beliefs together from what's found in the ground. The story is primarily set in 2005 Colombia when Plan Colombia was at its expected end after being initiated in 1999 by the Clinton administration as a six-year plan to defeat cocaine cartels. More like 'Ms. Indiana Jones meets Yoda", there's action, adventure, suspense, and a thriller for the philosophical intrigue. The main story is a transcendent journey for Catherine (archaeologist), Mosaic Caverns is hosted by a 'human descendant' in a purgatory state. There's mummy stuff, humor, music, and the wild landscapes of Colombia from the remote Pacific Ocean beaches to the mesmerizing Colombian rainforest and Inca mythology at play. The content warning is for the graphic portrayal of military violence between the Green Berets, FARC, and the Colombian Paramilitaries, and atrocities committed against the indigenous and Afro-Colombian populations. These scenes and more in the backstory add Horror to the storyline. Thanks for your consideration.

Blaze Union & the Puddin' Head Schools In this political satire that is “a wild Swiftian piece of imagination, as funny as it is urgent” (Self-Publishing Review) and “a unique and imaginative work of satire… that provides a stirring commentary on the current state of education in America” (Literary Titan), a teacher develops absurdity neurosis from a book banning rampage and follows his shrink’s advice to find schools more absurd than his own. He discovers 14-year-old Blaze Union, a phenomenal football (soccer) and guitar player dealing with her own absurdities. Although Sweeties attacked her Puddin’ Head school with a cookie bomb, Blaze is expelled from school for playing her guitar and resisting large hand rules. Seeing no other choice, Blaze attempts to convince the “supreme” prime minister to make her the education minister (boss) of all Puddin’ Head schools by risking a vengeful Noble Deed, which may just work.
