About me
Army veteran, Victoria Montes wrote for the Bakersfield Californian. She won short story contests in The Foreign Service Journals and the Kern County Writers Festival. She covered the war in Afghanistan as a photojournalist in 2008. In film school she produced the short film “A Soldier’s Story.”
