Disability feels the strongest when you are struggling to be heard. After 14 years of writing, I’m still adjusting to putting my voice on platforms. Introverted and with a self-effacing personality, I’m not exactly well suited to the attention seeking of promoting a book. Yet I have a voice, and A Migraine in the Light is a book that was written because it had to be. Simply put, the disease I live with is the most complex disease there is. If you disagree, it’s because you aren’t in pain and you haven’t looked closer.
