Thank you to those who have up-ticked my book. I am not quite used to the jargon or to the protocols of this site. I'm afraid I have been extraordinarily busy this past year and I apologise if I have missed any comments. I didn't promote "The Killing of Oslo," the book referred to below because of the war in Gaza. It didn't seem the right time. I have just finished writing a thriller titled, "Light Up and Die" but I am not looking to self publish. I am looking for an agent.

Hi Huzaifa, I am just sending out my latest book, Oslo to my beta readers. It's a romantic thriller set in the mid 1990s in Israel and Palestine. Maybe in a few months you could review it, if you were interested.

Thank you everyone who gave my book an uptick. It is very encouraging and kind of you to take the time. I'm sorry that I haven't grasped many of the protocols of this site but I'm sure I'll work it out in time.

My book appears to be generating controversy as well as attracting some interesting characters. Yesterday I was asked with a laughing emoji attached whether it was classed as fiction. To which I replied that it was - historical fiction. Another sent me a photo of himself with a long bio describing himself as an intergalactic traveller here to support the dynasty of Lord and Lady Trump. My reply thanked him for being fully dressed as a number of people who've sent photos to me were not. Then there is the woman who is dogging my footsteps through social media claiming that I have not acknowledged Christ's divinity and consequently spoiled Christmas. Somewhere in the middle - between the extremists and the unhinged, I hope there is an audience for this book. As I said to one inquirer, whatever your belief system, it raises interesting questions if approached with an open mind.

Great review from Robyn Heitmann on Goodreads. Although titled historical fiction, This story is really a speculative biography. set in the 3 days between Jesus (Yeshua in Aramaic) crucifixion and resurection, Susanna Lynley explores his life through the eyes of those who knew him best - his friends and family. Using the best archeological and current studies, Susanna focuses on the social, religious and political landscape which Yeshua inhabited. She proposes some solid foundations for the family background that influenced Yeshua , and fills in the ‘lost years’ in a way which plausibly explains his preaching. This is not a book for Christians who believe in a literal bible, but it IS a book for people who see religious texts as spiritual explanations, and are curious about who the man behind the iconography may have been. She makes allusions as to how the more magical aspects of the gospels may have come about, but avoids deriding them. Her Yeshua is a deeply spiritual man enmeshed in the cares of his society. He may be a prophet but he is not yet a messiah. At his core he is a deeply learned and principled man being remembered lovingly by his bereaved family. Definitely recommend for anyone, believer or not, who is interested in exploring Christianity.
