about 1 year agoThank you for this honest review. As someone self-published, I appreciate the willingness of independent reviewers. I felt that I addressed your concerns in my book, but I'm glad to know this could have been done much better.
In full honesty from me, I was sad to read your disbelief about my illness. I honor your opinion, but also hope you consider how harmful this attitude is more broadly. Many long-haulers struggle for acceptance from family, community members, and even medical professionals. Your perspective actually validates my point that disbelief is a huge block towards healing—something that hopefully is clearly expressed in my book. It's also strengthened my resolve to continue to share.
