I am a woman of many hats. By day, I'm “Dr. Ruth Ballard,” a professor and forensic DNA expert. By night, I'm "Ruthy Ballard," a creative sprite, whose passion is building scientific literacy in kids, through masterful storytelling. I write and illustrate science-rich fantasy books for kids 9-12.
