Renee Garrison is a former reporter who discovered her love of journalism while writing for her high school newspaper. Her first book, “The Anchor Clankers,” won a Gold Medal in the Florida Authors + Publishers Association Book Awards. (Yes, she really lived in a boys’ military boarding school) .
