Velamoor is a professor of psychiatry. He has published extensively in his field. This is his first foray into fiction. Originally from India, he has practised in England, Canada, the US, and New Zealand. Currently retired, lives in Toronto, Canada. Loves to play golf, reading, writing poetry.
