Counselor and faculty at Portland Community College in Race, Indigenous Nations, and Gender Studies. A former counselor at the University of Washington. Raised in Mexico, moved to the US in 2001. "Women of Fire and Snow" won award at the 2022 Independent Press Awards, in Spanish and English.
