Michael Bialys is from Toronto, Canada, where he began his career as a composer and lyricist. His song "Going for Gold" was performed at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. He was Honored By the CIBA, named as a Finalist for Dante Rossetti Book Awards
for outstanding works in Young Adult Fiction.
