The Wager by David Grann I'm a sucker for old-time sea adventures and this one didn't disappoint. You know if you like this kind of stuff, and if so, go for it. Kind of a cross between Mutiny on the Bounty and Endurance: Shackelton's Incredible Voyage. Very entertaining.

It's a good tool for keeping in touch with other writers, but I haven't noticed any link to increased sales. It kind of surprises me that 52 people upvoted my book (which I'm grateful for, don't get me wrong), but it doesn't look like any of them actually purchased it. Oh well, that's life for a self-published writer these days. Hope you're doing better. Cheers!

So far another great read from Tana French (not that she needs my recommendation). Mid-book impression: better than The Searcher but not as good as the Dublin Murder Squad series.

Congratulations. Wild that you only found out recently about the previous tour so long ago. Sometimes we put things out there and assume they just die a natural death, but then we realize that more people have seen it than we think. Back around 2005 I delivered free copies of my SF novel ForeverChild to a couple libraries, including one in my old home town. Two years later I was in town and just happened to visit the library, and there it was, on display as a 'librarian's favorite'. It never sold many copies, but sometimes little things like that are what you need to keep plugging away. I hope you've got something new on the way. Cheers!
