Prior to his career as a mathematics teacher, basketball coach, and mentor, Kevin McDormand co-hosted the successful radio show Hip Hop Romper Room at WHPK. He left Chicago to serve as General Manager of Raptivism Records, releasing seminal projects from Zion I, The Last Emperor, and dead prez.
