over 1 year agoHi , just searched through all fiftyone pages of nominated books and guess what . Skip Ahoy is not within those pages . What with Kristine the book reviewer who cannot comprehend any style of writing unless it's been set out by proofreaders editors and numerous droves of so called professionals and does not understand the basic mindset of a fifteen year old uneducated boys concept of grammar , that Kristine is where the books simplicity lays . But to take money under false pretences of promoting a book and then put no advert for my book I think that's appalling behaviour . Shameful .

The author wanted to write a narrative biography for his great grandchildren, who he will never see, a brief history of his nine month maiden voyage as a raw 15 year old Merchant Naval cadet . Now 79 he still prefers a challenging sea journey to the comforts of a rocking chair.
