The title is "Wheelchair Bound? " with a question mark. I question the appropriateness and absurdity of that term. Hopefully, if you read my book you will stop saying "wheelchair bound". In the updates I have photos related to events in the book. Check them out. Thanks for your interest in my book, and be sure to upvote when you are here. Jim

This is my van in Minnesota, only a few days after picking it up from the Florida dealer. Kathleen and I drove it from Florida to Minnesota, then a couple of days later we drove it to Palo Alto. 1987 I am still driving it.

This is the dock & boat lift I had built at my house in Florida. I could roll onto the dock, then the boat, and with a remote control lower the lift and drive the boat. I could do it by myself, but only did a few times, because it was a little precarious when by myself. 1994

This was when I realized my right femur was broken. We were waiting for a cab and were later told someone thought I was dead. I was in Es Calo, Formentera, with Mark. It is off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. After a ferry to Ibiza, a plane to Barcelona, a train to Luxembourg, a plane to Chicago and a Greyhound to Minneapolis, I got a cast on my leg. 1978
