About me

I served two tours in Vietnam, commanding an infantry company and also serving as an advisor to a South Vietnamese infantry battalion. Later I taught military history in college and wrote “The Tools of War,” one of the Time-Life series “The Vietnam Experience.” "Arlen's Gun" is my first novel.
