3 months agoHi fantasy lovers! This is my debut novel, I hope that you enjoy it. A reader asked me yesterday about my inspirations. Of course David Gemmell is right there, but also other greats like Raymond E Feist and Joe Abercrombie. I was reading The Horus Heresy quite a bit whilst writing this book, and the dark ambition in that series was a major influence and basis for the larger tale that is The Great Plan. I am really pleased with how that has all come together. I think it is truly epic in nature and I am trying to make it a complex, but relatable story of selfish motivation, ambition and betrayal.
