This story was a labor of love for me, revisiting so many relationships from my radio career so that I could create authentic relationships for the characters. The next time you listen to a radio morning show, pay attention to how much time they spend communicating with each other and compare that to relationships in your own life. Sometimes the discussion is meaningless gossip and other times it's about topics we shy away from even (or especially) in our closest relationships. The people on your radio really get to know each other is a special way. I once had a friend suggest that my morning show partner and I needed marriage counseling. I laughed it off but it was probably a really good suggestion. In this book I tried to give you real characters with life challenges you can relate to but always with a good laugh no more than a few pages away. Just like a great radio morning show.
