Recently finished Blade of Secrets by Tricia Levenseller and LOVED it! 10/10 recommend. Here are some of my thoughts: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS!! “I brace my hands against the bark of the nearest tree and feel my mind falling. It plummets to a dark and empty place, devoid of hope. There is no ladder or rope to climb back out. There is no end in sight. No light to guide my way. I am nothing but fear and panic.” Awwww this freaking book!! Where do I start?? First of all, the anxiety rep was chiefs kiss. I really felt known and seen! The main character even mentioned how it’s rare for her to be attracted to another in a romantic way which is the same for me!! I was so excited to see that in a book! Second, these characters are stunning! The sisters relationship is beautiful, Kellyn and Ziva’s relationship is gorgeous! And of course Petrik is great too. Third, the plot twists! AGR! they were so good and I wasn’t expecting them at all! There was a great balance between action/fight scenes and the quieter moments where the characters talked and got to know one another. Ziva’s magic is really interesting and I hope to learn more about it in the next book. Also the cliff hanger!! Why??? Tricia is a master writer. She is a queen. I will read anything she writes. This book is a new all time favorite and I highly highly recommend.
