over 4 years agoI thoroughly enjoyed The Brickbox, a creative and entertaining book about a young girl who is confronted by circumstances that I could never imagine . It was a great novel for a rainy afternoon as the author introduced the reader Jude, a teenage girl who has fled an abusive father and finds herself alone and lost in a city's core. She encounters an interesting group of characters who have chosen to live on the street and, for the most part, they become fiercely protective of Jude. The Brickbox is both educational and entertaining. Highly recommended.
