Alan Friedman

My first writing job was as a reporter for The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J. where I covered professional and college sports. In the 1980s I served as a Congressional aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. I also wrote songs for The Capitol Steps comedy troupe. I am a self-taught pianist.
