May I say that actually, there is every reason for consumers to pay attention to this book as it outlines what a probiotic is and how to know if products fit the proper term or are just a collection of organisms with no scientific backing. I have found too many sites and articles where the authors get this wrong and clearly do not properly understand probiotics. Consumers need to know!
