Hello all! I'm from Dallas, Texas, but currently based in Barcelona. I spend a lot of my free time reading anything from classics and literary fiction to murder mysteries and contemporary fiction. I started reviewing books years ago on Goodreads as a way of bookkeeping (pun intended) for myself. I have a habit of forgetting the plot of a book not too long after I've read it because, well, I read too much and my brain can't keep all of that information stored while also learning another language. I enjoy looking back on my reviews so that I can remember the emotions I was feeling reading that particular book. I rely on these reviews when recommending new books to others, and now I've realized new and lesser-known authors could benefit from this service so that's why I'm here. In my free time you can find me lying on the beach with a book in one hand and a cocktail in the other. Cheers!
