Must read 🏆

Literally can’t express how great this book is. It’s like I’m being sucked in and am in the story!

Synopsis

A Fairy Tale for a New Generation!

T. B. Phillips crafted a fresh tale of warrior fairies, banshees, magic, and thievery! With vivid imagery, Wailing Tempest is a fascinating blend of classic legends and heralds a powerful moral of acceptance and diversity. Here is book one in the Blossom of the Fae series, a new look at Irish fairies and lore!

Our story begins long after a single monster entered Fainnotheria through the fairy ring portal – a human filled with greed. Blinded by arrogance, his selfishness set his own world on a path to prosperity but is slowly destroying theirs. His presence wreaked havoc on two lives and left behind a dire war between the Fae – affecting many more.

Their forest is stained with corruption and their hearts are filled with hatred, fear, and vengeance against one another. Only one girl can travel through the portal, and now she must journey to the human realm in an attempt to set things right. Alistaria, the daughter of his arrogance, must challenge Lord Radviken, the man who stole away balance and unknowingly left her behind as his final insult upon the Fae.

TB Phillips has stormed into the book world and is on his way to greatness! The way he can build worlds and give life to characters is phenomenal! He’s taken faerie lore and put a whole new twist on it. The character development of Alistaria was breathtaking, I hope to see more of her development in book 2. I also enjoyed the journal entries at the beginning of each chapter; as well as the maps at the beginning of the book they help us as readers get a good sense of where the world. While keeping a serious atmosphere TB Phillips also includes a lot of humor. How a author can include the humor of a simple dog fart is crazy! And to end the book on it too, that’s even more hilarious. I give this book a 10/10 and highly recommend. I also would like to say that the story Wailing Tempest is by far one of the best work I’ve seen from TB Phillips and I would love to see more growth and work from him as he continues to expand his genre and creates more worlds and characters who we can’t help but fall in love with.
