It's been awhile since I posted anything because I'm being writing. The Devil Pulls the Script was recently recognized as Best American Script at the 2024 International Berlin Film Festival. For other news, I've updated my brand as shown below.

Happy Saturday Folks, Great news - On 18 Nov 202, I received notification, The Devil Pulls the Strings pilot series episode script was selected as a Quarter-Finalist in New York Metropolitan Screenwriting Competition. And the script is also ranked on Coverfly in TOP 25% of almost 98,000 projects, and TOP 21% of almost 4,000 fantasy projects. And for those folks interested in Bella Brown and the Missing Butterfly Locket (Picture book for 4-8 year olds) my illustrator continues to create beautiful illustrations for this work in progress - see attached image. Wow - The Devil Pulls the Strings has won 35 awards since 08 Sep 2022. This was made possible by help from my Editor, Suzanne Purvis who cut over 42,000+ words from the manuscript to help make content I revised sparkle and shine, and to my illustrator, Peter Johnston who brought all my characters to life through his fantastic illustrations.

Update News: An email notification received advised The Devil Pulls the Strings won nine additional awards, bringing the total of awards won to 28. I'm honored my writing continues to receive recognition.

It loops you in from the get-go, which I always appreciate. It's a pretty unique story line, and it keeps you guessing. If you're looking for a great fantasy type book, this one is definitely worth reading.

The author did a great job writing this in a way that will get his readers engaged and not wanting to put down the book. It has a very adventurous story line. It also left me wanting more and learning more. Characters are very well developed and have good descriptions. I love how the book is kind of all around and has a little but of everything in it. Such a solid book! I found this from pub and it's extremely enjoyable and entertaining. I'm just glad I chose this book to read. Very much worth it! I could imagine the story play in my head. Very imaginative story. If you are bored and is looking for something solid to read, this is a must read for you! Highly recommended!

This, in itself, is a refreshing aspect to story telling as a lot of fantasy stories are set either in Medieval times, or in a completely different realm.
