Naidra's Pollinator Sight: The Secret of Pollinator Ultraviolet Vision is a very creative and imaginative rhyming story with bright, colorful illustrations that highlights the importance of taking care of mother nature.
Naidra is a little girl who grew up in a sunny, tropical place with a lot of greenery. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and reading about nature.
One day, as she was enjoying the outdoors, she noticed a caterpillar - and then next day it was gone! This sparked Naidra's curiosity and she went home to read about them. Everyday after, she would go outside looking for the caterpillar with no luck.
She soon befriends a bee who teaches her about pollinators, gives her a special power, and helps her become a protector of the environment.
I really enjoyed this story. It is a topic I have not seen a lot of children's books address so it was refreshing to read. I actually learned something! This book will educate children about pollinators, depict through words and illustrations how beautiful nature looks with ultra-V sight, and show children the importance of taking care of our pollinator friends.
The story is written in rhyme which gives it a nice flow from beginning to end. It is also written from the perspective of a curious little girl and the tone of the story reflects this.
The illustrations are BEAUTIFUL! They are so bright and colorful. Extremely eye-catching.
If you are looking for a book about the environment to add to your library, this is definitely a great pick.
Very creative! Great work!
